Vijay started his academic cum spiritual journey at BITS Pilani in 1980 while doing B.E.(Hons) Civil Engineering. Thereafter he pursued M. Tech. at IIT Mumbai in Geotechnical Engineering; MBA in Strategy & Finance at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne (Australia) on AusAID Scholarship and a PhD in Environmental Governance from NLU Jodhpur (India).
