The month of November subtly brings to focus – the fast and fleeting nature of time! It looks like yesterday when 2025 was welcomed with full fanfare and now we are looking to say goodbye to it in the very next month.
Astrologically speaking November has the usual transits of fast moving planets like Venus, Sun, Mercury. The slow moving planets also have some key transit developments like Jupiter is getting retrograde in Cancer, Saturn is getting Direct in Pisces and Rahu is changing Nakshatra and getting into its own Nakshatra Shatabhisha in the month of November 2025.
After a very festive October, November has much lesser number of festivals. It starts auspiciously with Dev Uthan Ekadashi on 1st, Baba Shyam Khatu birthday also on 1st and Tulsi Vivah on 2nd November. The other festivals of larger spiritual signiifcance include Kartik Purnima or Dev Diwali on 5th November, Kaal Bhairav Jayanti on 12th November, Utpanna Ekasdashi on 15th November and Vivah Panchami ( celebrating the Marriage of Lord Ram and Mother Sita) on November 25.
On 2nd November, 2025 – Venus moves to Libra sign. This movement marks the end of debiltation for Venus and now Venus is in its own Mool Trikone sign Libra and is fairly strong here.
On 9th November, the planet of intellect Mercury will get retrograde in Scorpio sign.
On 11th November 2025, the mighty Jupiter which is in super strong state of exaltation becomes retrograde. It will eventually move back to Gemini sign next month in retrograde motion.
Sun will move out of its debilitated state on 16th November and will be joining the retrograde Mercury there. Sun will be moving to Scorpio sign and will find itself along with Scorpio lord Mars there. This will be very potent combination leading to Surya Mangal Yoga formation.
Moon will be in Scorpio on 19th November and it will be debilitated there. Since Sun is also there, we would see Amavasya with debilitated Moon on 20th November.
Mercury will fall back into Libra sign on 23rd November 2025 and finds itself in company of Libra lord Venus there. There will be a brief planetary war betwen the two before Venus overtakes Mercury.
Rahu will be changing Nakshatras on 25th November 2025. It will move to Shatabhisha Nakshatra. Rahu is the planetary lord of Shatabhisha Nakshatra and thus Rahu will be quite strong here.It will stay till 1st week of August 2026 in its own Nakshatra. Since Rahu rules Artificial intelligence, we can see a strong development in this area.
Venus will change signs to Scorpio on November 26, 2025. It joins Mars which is comfortably placed in its own sign Scorpio. Sun is also there. Three or more planets in one sign is called a Stellium.
Saturn will resume direct motion in Pisces on November 28, 2025. It shall bring relief to many rashis especially the ones which are either going Sadhe Saati or diffcult transits like Kantaka or Ashtam Shani.
Mercury will resume direct motion in Libra sign on November 29 and sets itself on course to its movement back to Scorpio sign on 6th December 2025.
