Venus is the planet for Love and Romance in the chart. It is the most beautiful among all the planets.

The planet Venus rules over Taurus and Libra signs. It gets exalted in Pisces and debilitated in Virgo.

f) The native can apply curd on the body before taking a bath.
g) The native can sprinkle Gomutra in his house from time to time.
h) The native should feed blind people whenever possible.
i) The native should offer green food to the cow regularly especially if the native is having difficulty getting married or is having a difficult marital life.

The idol of Venus should be made in silver (or in silver colour). Venus should be perceived as duly attired in white. Having four arms holding staff, Aksha sutra, Kamandal, and the fourth hand in a state of blessing posture.
Venus (Shukra) should be worshipped with the flowers and clothes of the colours of the idol and with fragrance, sticks, Deepa, giving oblations, Dhupa, Guggul, etc. The metal of the idol of the planet and the food dear to him as signified by the planet are donated in charity with full devoutness for the alleviation of the affliction.
Maharishi Parashara said that the Mantra of Venus should be recited sixteen thousand times.
The type of wood to be used for Havan of Jupiter is “Goolar”. The Havana Samagri duly mixed with honey, ghee, curd, or milk is offered as oblations into the sacred fire and amidst chanting of the Mantras 108 or 28 times, the Havana should be performed.
After that Brahmins should be fed. Rice with Ghee is a must for the remedy of Venus. After the worship Dakshina should be given as per shraddha of yajmana (person performing the Havan) and satisfaction of Brahmins.

Normally the mantras given below are chanted for reducing the affliction of Venus. Beej Mantra is preferred because of being a potent mantra.

Mantra for Venus: “Om Shukraay Namah”

Beej Mantra for Venus: “Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraay Namah”.

Gemstone

Remedies as per Gemstone:

Diamond (Heera): Diamond is the gemstone of Venus (Shukra)

a) The metal to be used for making the ring is gold or platinum.
b) It should be worn first on Friday, preferably during the period of Sukla Paksha (Waxing Moon).
c) It should be worn around 1:30 PM.
d) Diamond should be worn on the middle finger or the little finger.

Mantra for Venus: “Om Shukraay Namah”

Beej Mantra for Venus: “Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraay Namah”.

Either of these mantras should be recited at least 108 times before wearing the gemstone.
