Suresh Kumar is a renowned South Indian Astrologer having more than 25 years of experience in predictive astrology.
He belongs to a family of astrologers from the state of Kerala. He learned astrology from his father since childhood and followed it as a passion while holding various senior positions in the Government of India. Recently, he retired from the service at Joint Secretary level.
He has written a number of articles on various aspects of astrology for “Astrospeak”, a website owned by Times of India. He was associated with them since August 2004. He has a large following from India and abroad alike.
In addition to Astrology, he practices Yoga and studies Sanskrit as a passion.
He is holding two master’s degrees, one in Economics from University of Kerala and another in Sustainable Development from Teri University, New Delhi. He had received special training in Climate Change from three renowned universities of the United States of America like Yale University, Texas University and Brandeis University, Boston. He represented the Government of India during 2010 – 2012 in one of the Expert Groups formed by the United Nations to prepare a framework for studying Climate Change and Global Warming.
Now, he has dedicated his retirement life to furthering the study of astrology and helping others to solve their problems through right astrological advice.
Alok got in touch with Astrologer Suresh Kumar during his stint with Indiatimes Astrospeak. Astrospeak had got huge traffic from across the globe, and it was but natural for the site managers and owners (The Times of India Group) to explore monetization efforts for it.
Astrospeak developed a proprietary Birth chart software and website users were able to create the chart, save it and send it to the panel of Astrologers for personalised reading at a cost. Many astrologers wanted to get empanelled for the same, but Astrospeak management was quite selective about whom to enrol or not. Alok’s association with Suresh Kumar ji started in 2004.
Suresh Kumar, being highly educated and being at a fairly senior position in Government of India at that point of time, had a unique way of answering all his queries. Despite his busy schedule in the Government, he was very prompt in all his replies.
Another interesting aspect about this association is that when Alok wanted to launch Astropatri way back in early 2020, Suresh ji told him that the site will get launched in 2023 only. Corona happened and 2 years got washed away and somehow the situations developed in a manner that work on Astropatri website could get started in 2023 only.
