June 2026 Panchang & Festivals

The month of June starts on a very auspicious note with Jupiter getting exalted on June 2. The mighty benefic gets into Cancer sign, its sign of exaltation for the next 5 months. However, a note of caution is that Jupiter will be moving at an extra-ordinary speed and not its usual speed. This movement known as ” Atichari” is seen as adding an additional layer of complexity in an otherwise exceptionally positive planetary movement!

June also sees the regular movements of normal fast moving planets – Sun moves to Gemini on June 15. Venus moves to the watery sign of Cancer on June 8. Mars moves to Taurus on June 21. Mercury moves to Cancer on June 22 but gets retrograde on June 29. It moves out of its long running combustion on June 30.

Another thing to note is that Jupiter will also be changing its Naksahtra to Saturn owned Pushya. Rahu ( True Rahu) also moves to Mars owned Dhanishta on June 30.
