Rahu has been in Pisces sign from October 2023 and Ketu is in Virgo sign since the same time. In 2025 transit, they will move (back) to Aquarius and Leo sign respectively. It is worth noting that the two planets – also known as Shadowy planets (छाया ग्रह ), always move in a backward motion rather than in a forward motion. Rahu is currently transiting in Pisces sign and Purva Bhadrapad Nakshatra. This Nakshatra is ruled by Jupiter.
Rahu enters Aquarius on May 18, 2025 but in the same Nakshatra. On 25th Novembr 2025, it will enter Shatabhisha Nakshatra, a Nakshatra ruled by Rahu himself. During this time, Rahu will be quite powerful and potent enough to give results associated with it.
Rahu will stay here for about 9 months and then will transition to Dhanishta Nakshatra, a Nakshatra ruled by Mars. Since Mars and Rahu are strong enemies, the adverse results are likely to overshadow the good ones.
Ketu on the other hand, is currently in Uttar Phalguni Nakshatra in Virgo sign.
It will move to Leo sign on 18th May, 2025 but will transition to Purva Phalguni Nakshatra on 20th July 2025. This Nakshatra is ruled by Venus.
Ketu will move to Magha Nakshatra next year on March 29, 2026. Magha Nakshatra is ruled by Ketu himself. This makes Ketu strong and capable of giving associated results.

Remedies for Ketu
The term True Rahu and Ketu refers to the true astronomical positions of nodes. Here we consider that the intersection points of Moon’s orbit with the Elleptic can fluctuate due to the oscillations of the orbital paths (because of gravitational factors).
True Rahu and Ketu are considered more astronomically accurate and thus are used whenever precise calculations or timings of events are to be done.
Our traditional Panchangs consider Rahu and Ketu to be stationary points of intersection between the Moon’s orbital path and Earth’s elleptic. Here, factors like oscillations, gravitational pulls etc are not considered and the intersection points remain fixed.
Some astrologers feel that it was okay to consider Mean Rahu and Ketu till the time advanced calculation softwares were not made and since now the astrological softwares are quite nuanced, we should now refer to True Rahu and Ketu only.
There is a difference of eleven days during the 2025 Transit. True Rahu Ketu transit is happening 11 days after the Mean Rahu Ketu Transit.

The difference is extremely insignificant generally when one compares it to the total transit duration period which is 18 months.
